Dear quilter,

Welcome! I use authentic ancient Mayan designs to create aprons, wall hangings, pillows, sweatshirts, T-shirts, table runners and place settings. I am a fourth generation quilter and began my first quilt at eighteen. Goodness, that is almost fifty years ago.

As a student at the excellent school of Anthropology at the University of Arizona (Go Wildcats!) I discovered the organic beauty of Mayan Hand stamps. I have embroidered them, woven them and now am creating a series of applique patterns for you.

Perhaps you will share my pleasure in the simple richness of these authentic and sophisticated designs from several thousand years ago.

Happy Quilting,

Linda Laird
